Easter Sunday

The last day of The Triduum, the three days where we remember the last supper, the arrest, crucifixion and the death of Jesus, and the Resurrection to new life. 

Today, after all the heartache of that first Holy Week, and Jesus’ journey to his death, today we celebrate the empty tomb and The Resurrection of Jesus our Saviour.  We rejoice in our Risen Saviour, for through God’s enormous love for all of us in sacrificing Jesus on the cross, we can celebrate the defeat of death and the hope of salvation.
