Details of our regular services are listed below. Any changes to our service pattern can be found on our calendar.
First Sunday of the Month at 3:00pm in the Church:
Evening Prayer in church with hymns and sermon
This service follows a contemporary pattern of Evening Prayer, with hymns led by Melanie, our Organist, and members of our congregation taking part in roles such as reading scripture and leading prayers. Many of our services engage with a specific theme. Two times a year, we have communion at these services.
Our services are followed with a time of refreshments and fellowship.
Some months our services take a different format – for example, we may have communion at some of our services, and our December service is a carol service. Occasionally we change the date to mark a specific event, such as Remembrance Sunday in November, or our Carol Service in December. For updates and information in our services, please contact us.
If you would like a gluten free wafer or non-alcoholic wine at one of our communion services, please contact Caroline, our administrator at Inverurie, before the day of the service so we can arrange for a wafer to be brought from Inverurie for you.
Thursday at 11:30am in Church on Zoom:
Morning Prayer:
A shortened form of the Daily Office with scripture readings, discussion and fellowship. This service takes place over Zoom.
If you’d like to join us, please contact Richard for the zoom link and order of service.
Seasonal Services:
We occasionally hold special seasonal services, such as at Christmas and Easter to mark special times within the church calendar. Please check our calendar for more information on any of these services.
